Teen Lock InCelebrate the freedom of Summer at our first-ever Teen Lock In on Friday, May 27th starting at 7:00 pm and going until Saturday morning. Teens will be kept on the move the entire night as they participate in swimming, Xbox "Call of Duty: Black Ops" competition, a movie on the big screen, football and basketball games, and other activities all designed to keep the teens involved and AWAKE! Dinner, a snack station and drinks will be available the entire night. The event is open to ages 13 to 18 years of age. Cost is $10.00 for residents and $12.00 for guests. Register at the front desk at Club Rancho Sahuarita. If you would like to volunteer to be a chaperone at this event, please contact the Lifestyle Department at 207-7730.
Memorial Day WeekendKick off the weekend with our Memorial Day event on Saturday, May 28th from 9:00 am-12:00 pm. Enjoy good music, jumping castles, obstacle course, face painting, kiddie train and entertainment for the entire family. Also visit the Sahuarita Library and find out about summer programs for your children.
The fun continues Sunday, May 29th at 8:00 pm with the showing of the movie "Secretariat". This is the next film in our "Movies Under the Stars" series. Diane Lane is wonderful as Penny Tweedy. Penny guides her long-shot but precocious stallion to set, in 1973, the unbeaten record for winning the Triple Crown. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy+complimentary popcorn courtesy of our Rancho Sahuarita home builders.
Community Yard SaleClean out the closets and gather your unwanted items for our summer community yard sale on Saturday, June 4th from 7:00 am to 12:00 noon. Rancho Sahuarita will put out the welcome mat to hundreds of bargain shoppers. Over 120 families participated in our last community-wide yard sale. Registration begins June 1st.
Teen Luau Pool PartyPrivate pool party for all teenagers! The entire pool and water park will be designated "Teens Only" for this cool pool party. Make your plans to be there with all your friends on Sunday, June 5th from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The party includes lots of food, drinks, great music with a DJ and games! Pre-register or simply pay at the door! Residents are $10.00 while guests are only $12.00. The party is restricted to teens ages 13 to 18.
